On Thursday the parade will start on 9. 50 AM by Vijay Chowk and shift towards the National Stadium. The tableaux will start from Vijay Chowk and proceed to the Red Fort. The wreath laying function at the Country wide War Memorial will take place at 9 AM. Starting from Vijay Chowk the march will pass through Rajpath Bienquerer Jawan Jyoti India Door Princess Palace roundabout Tilak Marg and Radial Route. And then it will turn right with C Hexagon turn left again to enter the Country wide Stadium. Similarly the tableaux will start from Vijay Chowk and proceed to Red Ft via Rajpath India Door Princess Palace roundabout Tilak Marg Bahadur Shah Ahorrar Marg and Netaji Subhash Marg.

Republic Day targeted traffic movement and restrictions

The traffic movement on certain roads leading to the route in the parade and tableaux will be restricted. No traffic will be allowed on Vijay Chowk from 6 pm with Monday till the march is over on Tuesday. The Delhi Police says which due to the parade no cross traffic will be allowed with Rajpath intersections from Monday afternoon.

As per the advisory The indian subcontinent Gate will be closed intended for traffic movements from five am on Tuesday till the tableaux cross Tilak Marg. The traffic will never be allowed on Tilak Marg Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Subhash Marg by 5 am Tuesday. The cross traffic can be helped depending on the movement of tableaux. The routes that drivers can follow tomorrow would be the north-south corridor that includes Eng agement ring Road Ashram Chowk Sarai Kale Khan and Rajghat.

Delhi Police have forbidden flying of sub-conventional oxygenous platforms like para motor para-gliders hang gliders UAVs microlight aircrafts remotely piloted aircrafts hot air balloons little size-powered aircrafts quadcopters or even para jumping from aircraft over the jurisdiction of the state capital.

Delhi Metro timings on Republic Day

Often the Delhi Metro services will be partially shut tomorrow on account of security arrangements for the Republic Day. Four stations : Central Secretariat Udyog Bhawan Patel Chowk and Elektrolokomotive Kalyan Marg - near the Rajpath will be shut in the morning. All metro parking plenty will remain closed from Monday evening to Tuesday morning. Interchange will be available at the Key Secretariat metro stations. The Central Secretariat station to be used for interchange of guests between Line 2 (Yellow Line) and Line 6th (Violet Line) during that interval.
